Pre-Demo Surveys

Are you able to work within an active facility?

Yes. We specialize in phased abatement that allows you to keep most of your facility operational. We build containment, use negative air pressure, and schedule high-noise work during off-hours when required.

What does a Designated Substance Survey (DSS) involve?

An Ontario DSS identifies all designated substances under O. Reg. 490/09 — including asbestos, lead, silica, and others — that workers may be exposed to during renovation or demolition. It is legally required before any project in Ontario. We conduct the survey, sample collection, and provide the written report.

How quickly can you mobilize for an emergency?

For commercial water damage and flood response, we target on-site within 2–4 hours of your call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For planned abatement, we can typically mobilize within 3–5 business days depending on job size.

Do you carry pollution liability insurance?

Yes. We carry $1M pollution liability coverage in addition to $10M general liability. This is critical for asbestos and mould work — many contractors do not carry pollution coverage, leaving building owners exposed.

Can you serve as the abatement contractor on a general contractor's project?

Absolutely. We work regularly as a subcontractor to GCs on renovation, retrofit, and demolition projects. We integrate with your project timeline, provide all required documentation, and attend site meetings as needed.
